We look for students who have demonstrated engagement in lessons, technical proficiency, confidence on stage, and eagerness to learn. JamPro Bands are fun and engaging, all while emphasizing important life skills such as etiquette, respect, preparedness, collaboration, and public speaking.
Joining a band involves a level of commitment beyond just the financial component. Aside from school and other educational activities, we require that students make their bands a priority. Much like a sports team, being in a band involves other students who are relying on you being present and well prepared.

Show up prepared
Parts are assigned in advance. Rehearsal is for locking in the arrangement, not learning it for the first time.

We do our best to optimize your music schedule. Many band members prefer to book private lessons close to rehearsal so one trip covers both.

Who is invited?
Invitation-only. Instructors recommend students who have shown engagement in lessons, technical proficiency, confidence on stage, and eagerness to learn.
Do I have to stay in private lessons?
Yes. You must remain enrolled in JamPro Monthly Music Lessons. The band program builds on that weekly work — it does not replace it.
What is the time commitment?
One 90-minute rehearsal each week, plus practice between rehearsals and performances when the band is booked. School and other activities matter; the band still has to be a priority.
Can we schedule private lessons near rehearsal?
We will do our best to work with you to optimize your music schedule. Many band members prefer to schedule their private lessons close to their band rehearsal time so the trip to JamPro covers both.
What does it cost?
$199 per month for the Band Program, in addition to monthly music lessons.
