At JamPro Music Factory we create an unparalleled student experience by providing a highly engaging and inspiring learning environment where students gain experience using Yamaha U1 pianos and 88-key weighted action keyboards. Our acoustically treated lesson studios utilize today’s industry-leading equipment and interactive software. Teamed with our professional concert production division, students have regular opportunities to perform on our world-class stage equipped with tour-grade backline, audio, lighting, and video.

HOW LONG ARE PIANO LESSONS?
Our monthly-based lesson programs are offered as 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute lessons. Our Adult Lesson Packages for students 21+ are offered in 45-minute and 60-minute lessons. Recommended lesson lengths will vary depending the student’s age, ability, and level of commitment.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START PIANO LESSONS?
While it is difficult to specify exactly what age is best to start piano lessons, students under the age of 6 typically do not exhibit the patience and coordination necessary to be successful learning to play piano. In some cases, students younger than 6 can do well, however this is rather uncommon and really depends on the student’s personality and level of maturity.
DO YOU TEACH ADULTS?
Yes, and it is never too late to learn to play piano! Students 21+ can enroll in our monthly-based lesson programs or purchase one of our Adult Lesson Package options. Adult Lesson Packages are available as 45-minute or 60-minute lessons and offered in packs of 5 or 10 lessons.
IS THERE A MINIMUM COMMITMENT?
Yes. Learning any instrument requires perseverance and dedication, particularly when just starting out. Because of this we require a 3-month upfront commitment for students enrolling in our monthly programs. Following that initial commitment lessons are billed on a monthly basis. Students 21+ purchasing one of our Adult Lesson Packages are required to commit upfront for the number of lessons in that package.
HOW DO I JOIN A STUDENT BAND?
Our Student Band program is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences we offer. It is an excellent opportunity for students to apply the concepts and material covered in lessons to a collaborative and performance based environment. Because a basic level of proficiency is required to play in a band, this program is only available to students enrolled in our monthly-based lesson program that demonstrate the necessary ability and commitment.
ARE PIANO LESSONS ONE-ON-ONE?
Yes, all of our piano lessons are private one-on-one lessons with a qualified instructor
HOW OFTEN ARE PIANO LESSONS?
Piano lessons are once a week for those enrolled in our monthly-based lesson programs and lessons are scheduled on the same day and time of each week. Our Adult Lesson Packages generally offer a little more scheduling flexibility to accommodate work and life commitments.
DO I NEED TO OWN A PIANO OR KEYBOARD TO TAKE LESSONS?
Not immediately, however after the first few lessons we will require that you have a piano or 88-key weighted action keyboard available for practicing at home. We have a wide selection of keyboards available to rent or purchase and our instructors are available to help you select an appropriate instrument.
DO YOU COME TO MY HOME TO TEACH LESSONS?
We believe the best student experience comes from in-person lessons at our state-of-the-art facility. However, if you prefer to take lessons from the comfort of your own home or you are not located within driving distance of our facility, we offer a highly interactive remote lesson experience online.
WHICH PROGRAM IS BEST FOR BEGINNERS?
Our monthly-based lesson programs are designed for beginning students of all ages. Beginners focus on learning the fundamentals of music and building a foundation of proper technique, performance, and music theory. Our Adult Lesson Packages are for students 18+ and cover all skill levels from beginner to advanced.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO LEARN TO PLAY THE PIANO?
Like many things, learning to play piano is a lifelong endeavor. How fast a student learns varies widely and depends on the individual’s age, aptitude, practice routine, and level of commitment. Highly dedicated students can often achieve basic proficiency in as little as 6 months and reach advanced levels within a few years.
